Young and crazy hero Vijay Deverakonda’s plan to make it big in Bollywood took a severe beating due to ‘Liger’. He gained a lot of stardom after ‘Arjun Reddy’ release and his ‘Dear Comrade’ came out in all South Indian languages. The movie did not perform commercially and it did not make any impact. Vijay worked very hard on the promotions but it all went into vain.
Now, he is aiming to bounce back with ‘Khushi’ which is a romantic drama. While many think that it is just a regional film due to the small scale of the story, Vijay decided to release it on the pan-Indian level as well. He doesn’t want to go off the list of pan-Indian actors and it is the main reason behind ‘Khushi’ releasing in all languages.
Deverakonda has a huge task in his hand as barring Rajamouli’s films and Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa’, not many films managed to become pan-Indian hits. Stars like Prabhas, Nani and others worked very hard but their movies did not impress the audience all over the country. Let us wait and see whether VD proves to be different from others or not.
‘Khushi’ is releasing on 1st September. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the movie will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam languages. Shiva Nirvana penned the story, screenplay and dialogues apart from being the director. The movie also stars Jayaram, Sachin Khedekar, Murali Sharma, Lakshmi, Ali, Rohini, Vennela Kishore, Rahul Ramakrishna, Srikanth Iyengar, and Saranya Pradeep in key roles. Hesham Abdul Wahab is the music composer.
