Young Rebel Star Prabhas’ high-budget fantasy action drama ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ which is being directed by Nag Ashwin has a lot riding on it. The glimpse which came out last month has raised expectations massively and it has captured the attention of people all over the globe. The scale and grandeur showcased in the movie stunned everyone.
We all know that Amitabh Bachchan is a vital part of this movie while Kamal Hassan is expected to play the villain’s role. Deepika Padukone is the female lead while Disha Patani is also a part of it. During the promotion of ‘King Of Kotha’, handsome hero Dulquer Salman hinted at being a part of this humongous project. Though he did not reveal it, he showered praises on his ‘Mahanati’ director.
He said, “I have been to the sets of Kalki 2898 AD recently. I was amazed by the vision of Nag Ashwin. He surprised the audience with Yevade Subramanyam and then with Mahanati. Now it is Kalki 2898 AD. I should not talk much about it for now. Let’s not talk about it and I will keep promoting Kalki 2898 AD.” Dulquer did ‘Mahanati’ and ‘Sita Ramam’ under the Vyjayanthi Movie banner and sources say that he is playing an interesting cameo in this movie.
We need to wait and see how the star hero will be presented in the movie. With Nag Ashwin himself revealing that there is still shooting to be done, a lot of netizens are coming to the conclusion that it might get postponed to May 9th. Santosh Narayanan is the music composer while Djordje Stojilijkovic is the director of photography. Ashwini Dutt is the movie’s producer. Other than this, Prabhas is also working on ‘Salaar’ and Maruthi’s film.
