Vignesh Gets In The Middle Of ‘Leo’ Controversy

‘Leo’ without a doubt is the most anticipated movie in South India this Dusshera season. With Lokesh Kanagaraj directing it after a blockbuster like ‘Vikram’ and Thalapathy Vijay being the lead actor, the expectations have touched the sky ever since it was announced. However, the trailer did not reach the expectations and people started having concerns about the movie which is coming out on 19th October.

On top of that, the audio release event was canceled too and Lokesh Kanagaraj reportedly took ‘Leo’ out of his Twitter bio which sparked a lot of rumors that suggested a friction between hero Vijay and the director. Recently, the producer came out and made it clear that everything is okay between Vijay and Lokesh therefore the fans need not worry about anything.

On the other hand, filmmaker Vignesh Shivan liked some posts on Twitter that hinted towards a rift between Lokesh and Vijay. This led to a lot of unnecessary controversy and Vignesh decided to write a long post explaining everything. He said, “Dear Vijay sir fans, Loki fans … sorry for the confusion without even seeing the msg, the context or the content of the video or the tweet, by just seeing Loki’s interview I liked the video! cos am a big fan of his works and his interviews and the way he speaks! Am also eagerly awaiting the grand release of Thalapathy Vijay sir’s Leo. My bad! I didn’t even see the video inside or read the tweet! I Should have been careful! Sorry.”

He further added, “So it’s a silly mistake from my side! And I express my apologies to all the good Thalapathy fans across the globe. Waiting to see the blockbuster movie on 19th October with the same excitement as ya’ll! So please stop wasting ur time commenting more about this silly mistake and start celebrating LEO and all the good work that’s been put into it! God bless, Jai Hind.”
