Sujeeth Explains What ‘OG’ Stands For & Reveals Crazy Details!

‘Run Raja Run’ and ‘Saaho’ fame Sujeeth blew everyone’s minds when the teaser of his upcoming film ‘OG’ dropped. He showcased Pawan Kalyan in a way that he was not presented in recent times. His stylish filmmaking was on full display and the hero elevations in a small teaser made the fans go berserk. The expectations are massive on this film and it is expected to hit the screens on 27th September.

During a recent interview, Sujeeth gave away some interesting details regarding this gangster drama. Talking about the movie’s title, he said, “Many people know that ‘OG’ stands for ‘Original Gangster.’ Hence, there was speculation that the title of the movie starring Pawan Kalyan was chosen with this meaning in mind. However, it turns out this is not the case. OG actually stands for ‘Ojas Gambhir’.

He added, “In the movie, Ojas is the name of the master, and Gambhir is the hero’s name. Combining these gives us OG. That’s why we chose this title. Pawan always tries to include a Japanese flavor in his films, even if the story isn’t related. That’s why I have been set on making a film with him in the Japanese style.

That’s what OG is.” Talking about how he ended up making a film with Power Star, Sujeeth stated, “Initially, I was called for a remake, but I wasn’t interested. The thrill of an original movie is different from a remake. So, I waited for a chance. After waiting for so long, fate was on my side. One day, Kalyan asked if I had any new stories. I told him one line, and he immediately agreed. That’s how OG came to be.”

Sujeeth claimed that he wants to make a multi-starrer with Pawan Kalyan and Prabhas. He explained that there is a prospect of linking ‘Saaho’ and ‘OG’ worlds. If it becomes a reality, Sujeeth will become a demigod among the fans and this multi-starrer will break a lot of records. Let us see if it happens or not.
