King Nagarjuna’s socio fantasy flick Damarukam was delayed for many times much to the shock of movie lovers and fans. Fans couldn’t digest these delays and during the last delay they sat protested and even showed their feelings on theatres who informed them at the last minute. This is the first time a top hero film suffered these kind of embarrassement. When film makers announced recent release date also no one was sure whether the film would be screened or there would be another delay. Luckily film is releasing as expected.
King Nagarjuna speaking on the release of the film atleast said the film’s delay taught him many lessons and showed him how to be patience. He even said the delay united entire film industry making them forget their differences. He thanked all renowned personalities and especially mentioned Darsakaratna Dasari Narayana Rao taking special interest in the movie. He even thanked Prakash Raj for helping him in the release of the film. He pointed out film maker went around everyone and even faced insults from some quarters to get the film released.
This shows that sometimes controversies unite film industry making them set aside their differences and personal egos for the good of the industry.
