A few days ago, Nagarjuna had announced that this year’s ANR National Award would be presented to Megastar Chiranjeevi. Today, that promise was fulfilled in a grand ceremony. Nagarjuna personally invited Chiranjeevi to the event, which was attended by Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan. Global star Ram Charan and actor Victory Venkatesh were the main highlights of the function.
Other notable guests included actress Ramya Krishna, director Raghavendra Rao, filmmaker Trivikram, and Chiranjeevi’s mother, Anjanadevi. During the ceremony, Chiranjeevi was honored with the Akkineni National Award, an accolade given annually to the finest actors in memory of Nagarjuna’s father, the legendary Nageswara Rao. An emotional moment came when Nageswara Rao’s last audio message, recorded from his ICU bed, was played.
In the message, he expressed his gratitude to his family and friends for their love and prayers during his illness. He conveyed his hope of recovering and thanked everyone for their constant support. These heartfelt words have now gone viral, touching the hearts of many.
