High Prices For Allu Arjun, What About Ram Charan?

The stage is now set for the grand theatrical debut of Allu Arjun and Sukumar’s Pushpa 2 as the film is set for its release on the 5th of this month. Ahead of the big release, the makers have secured the permission for super high ticket prices for the film. The prices in effect in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are unlike anything we have seen in the past as they are through the roof.

There premiere shows pricing for Pushpa 2 is a whopping Rs 1200+ in Nizam and a mighty Rs 900+ in AP. This is the highest officially permitted pricing for any Indian film till date. It is evident that the makers of the Allu Arjun starrer have gone all out for the ticket hikes for the film.

Now that Allu Arjun has sorted such high prices for Pushpa 2, the debate is now shifting on towards Ram Charan who has his theatrical release next. Charan’s Game Changer is releasing in theaters on the 10th of this January and this is the immediate next biggie after Pushpa 2.

Given the massive prices that are in effect for Pushpa 2 now, it has to be seen what kind of rates Game Changer will put up during the time of its release. If this film also goes for super high prices like Pushpa 2, then this could start an ugly percent in Tollywood where superstar films would come with astronomical prices.

Allu Arjun’s film has gone the pricey way with regard to the ticket prices and it has to be seen which way Ram Charan’s Game Changer will lean ahead of its release next Sankranthi season.
