In the letter, Kharge conveyed, “Apropos our telephonic conversation this morning, wherein I requested to hold Dr. Manmohan Singh’s last rites at his final resting place, which would be a sacrosanct venue for a memorial of the great son of India.” He further emphasized the significance of such memorials, urging Prime Minister Modi to consider the request in keeping with the tradition of honoring those who have contributed immensely to the nation’s progress.

The proposed memorial would serve as a lasting tribute to Dr. Singh’s remarkable legacy, ensuring that future generations remember the role he played in India’s development as a leading global economy.
