The release journey of Aabeer Gulal, featuring Pakistani actor Fawad Khan and Bollywood actress Vaani Kapoor, has been far from smooth. During the period of Operation Sindhoor, when restrictions were placed on Pakistani artists in India, the film was put on hold and its theatrical release was postponed.
Now, the makers are finally ready to bring the movie to audiences. According to Hindi media reports, Aabeer Gulal is slated for release on September 26th across Indian theatres. The team, which had already carried out extensive promotions earlier, is now preparing to resume promotional activities with renewed energy.
Touted to be a feel-good romantic drama, the film explores themes of love, second chances, and the magic that binds relationships. Directed by Aarti S Bagdi, the movie is produced by Vivek B. Agrawal, Raza Namazi, and Firuzi Khan. Adding to the charm, Amit Trivedi has composed the music with lyrics penned by Kumaar.
Though the film may face some criticism due to its cross-border casting, the outlook appears promising, with audiences curious to witness this unique pairing on the big screen.
