Popular actor Abbas, once a beloved face in Tamil and Telugu cinema, is making a long-awaited return to the silver screen. Best remembered for his charming role in the 1996 romantic classic Premadesam, Abbas enjoyed a successful run through the late ’90s and 2000s as both a lead and character actor. However, he gradually stepped away from the limelight, with his last known appearance being in the 2015 Malayalam film Pachakalam.

Now, nearly 11 years later, Abbas is set to make his official comeback to Tamil cinema. He will be seen in a prominent role in an upcoming family drama starring GV Prakash Kumar. The film, directed by newcomer Mariaraja Ilancheliyan and produced by Jayawardhananan, also features Sri Gowri Priya as the female lead.

Abbas’s return marks a quiet but notable re-entry into the film world. He hasn’t appeared in a Telugu film since Ala Vadhu Okka Roju in 2014, making this comeback all the more special for fans who have missed his presence on screen.

With this project, Abbas steps back into the spotlight, reigniting hopes among his admirers and signaling a fresh chapter in his acting journey.
