Bollywood actor Kareena Kapoor Khan’s team has released a statement urging the media and public to refrain from speculation regarding the recent stabbing attack on Saif Ali Khan, as police continue their investigation into the incident.

The statement reads:
“There was an attempted burglary at Mr. Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s residence last night. Saif had an injury on his arm for which he is currently hospitalized and undergoing a procedure. The rest of the family is doing fine. We request the media and fans to remain patient and avoid unnecessary speculation, as the police are diligently investigating. Thank you for your concern. Team Kareena Kapoor Khan.”

The incident reportedly took place in the presence of all family members, including Kareena Kapoor Khan and their two sons, according to Mumbai Police.

Saif’s team also issued a separate statement, saying:
“There was an attempted burglary at Mr. Saif Ali Khan’s residence. He is currently in the hospital undergoing surgery. We request the media and fans to remain patient. This is a police matter.”

Sources close to the actor revealed that Saif confronted the intruder, who was armed with a weapon, in an effort to protect his family. The confrontation occurred in the middle of the night, during which Saif fought back and prevented harm to his family but was injured in the process. Despite the intruder being armed, Saif did not hesitate to act.

Medical reports from Lilavati Hospital indicate that the actor sustained six stab wounds, two of which are considered deep. Dr. Niraj Uttamani, COO of Lilavati Hospital, stated:
“One stab wound is dangerously close to the spine. Saif is being treated by a team of specialists, including neurosurgeon Dr. Nitin Dange and anesthesiologist Dr. Nisha Gandhi.”

The Mumbai Police detained three individuals from Saif’s residence for questioning regarding the incident. The three witnesses provided statements about the events leading up to the attack.

The stabbing incident occurred at approximately 4:00 a.m. at Saif’s Mumbai home. The intruder reportedly entered while Saif was asleep and attempted to assault him after a confrontation ensued. The actor was brought to the hospital around 3:30 a.m., where he remains under medical supervision.

Law enforcement officials confirmed they have registered an FIR against the intruder, who fled the scene after attacking Saif six times. Investigations are ongoing to identify and apprehend the suspect.
