Megastar Chiranjeevi’s upcoming intense action drama ‘Godfather’ is suffering with low buzz. The film has a lot of well-known actors and Bollywood mass hero Salman Khan will also be seen in a supporting role. Nayanthara is playing a crucial role and top-notch technicians have worked on it. The movie is going to hit the screens on 5th October but it is not getting the hype that we usually associate with Megastar Chiranjeevi.
The teaser and posters have failed to make an impact. The first song will be coming out on Thursday and Salman along with Chiru will be rocking the dance floor. But the audience are not showing a lot of interest in it. With just a few weeks left for release, the makers are yet to close the theatrical business which is a bit worrying.
Apparently, the distributors are willing to take the film if the producer is okay with taking the entire risk. The low buzz on the film is not helping at all and we all know that ‘Super Good Films’ have not produced a big film in Telugu in recent times. The main reason is reportedly the disastrous result of Megastar’s previous flick ‘Acharya’. This movie left a lot of buyers in losses and they are hesitating to bet high on Megastar’s film again.
With Dasara season coming to the film’s aid, we need to wait and see if ‘Godfather’ ends up being successful at the box office or not. Mohan Raja is directing the movie while RB Choudary and NV Prasad are producing it, while Konidela Surekha is presenting it. Nirav Shah is the cinematographer while Suresh Selvarajan is the art director. Thaman is the music composer.
