Popular Malayalam actor Shine Tom Chacko met with a tragic car accident on Friday morning near Palacode in Tamil Nadu. The accident claimed the life of his father, C.P. Chacko, who died on the spot. Shine and his mother, who were also in the vehicle, sustained serious injuries and were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. Both are currently under medical supervision, and further updates on their condition are awaited.
According to initial reports, the accident occurred when Shine’s car collided with a truck in the early hours of the day. The circumstances surrounding the incident are still being investigated, and more details are expected to emerge soon.
This unfortunate event comes shortly after Shine was in the news over a narcotics case filed by the Excise Department in Alappuzha. However, the Alappuzha Sessions Court recently ruled that Shine was not involved in the case, clearing his name of the allegations.
Shine Tom Chacko is widely recognized for his versatile performances in Malayalam films such as Kammatipaadam, Ishq, Love, Kurup, Bheeshma Parvam, and Bazooka. He was last seen in Alappuzha Gymkhana. He also made his Telugu debut with Dasara and appeared in other Telugu films like Rangabali, Devara, Daaku Maharaaj, and Robinhood.
