An exciting collaboration is in the works as acclaimed actor Vijay Sethupathi joins hands with dynamic filmmaker Puri Jagannadh for an upcoming film that promises to be extraordinary. The project, which is yet to go on floors, features a stellar cast including Tabu, Radhika Apte, and others, raising the anticipation bar even higher.

During the promotions of his latest film Ace, Vijay Sethupathi shared his enthusiasm about the upcoming venture. He confirmed that the story is “extraordinary” and something he’s genuinely excited about.

When quizzed about rumors that the film is titled Beggar, Sethupathi dismissed the speculation, saying, “We haven’t finalized the title yet.”

Opening up about how the project came together, he said, “I have immense respect for Puri Jagannadh. I’ve watched many of his films and admire his storytelling. I assumed the narration would be split over two days — the first half on one day and the second half on the next. But Puri sir narrated the entire story in one go, for almost three and a half hours! It was so engaging, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.”

The actor added that the film’s shoot is expected to begin next month and expressed that he’s perhaps more excited than the audience to work under Puri’s direction.

With a powerful team and a compelling narrative in place, this collaboration is shaping up to be one of the most awaited projects in Indian cinema.
