Maverick director Ram Gopal Varma was once a path breaking director who produced several classics in the past. However all that is passed past, the director is just churning out mediocre films which do not last for at least a week at the box office.
However actors still feel it a privilege to work with the ace director. There are very few actors who do not give him dates when he approached them with a script. Hence Ram Gopal Varma is never short of offers and is continuously doing films one after the other.
Last year, he started a project titled ‘Patta Pagalu’ starring Rajasekhar and Swathi Deekshit. The First look posters and theatrical trailer of the film were released too. Even after months of the trailer release, there is no talk about the movie release or its progress. It is said that the movie is no longer on and is shelved.
They say Rajasekhar has got some creative differences with Ram Gopal Varma regarding the climax of the film. The differences further increased and resulted in shelving of the project. Ram Gopal Varma usually creates headaches for actors but in a different scenario, an actor became headache for RGV now.
Rajasekhar recently had a release in the form of Gaddam Gang which is a remake of a Tamil film. The movie ended up as a big dud. Many hopped that Patta Pagalu may become a big break for both Rajasekhar as well as Ram Gopal Varma.
