Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was lately trolled for his comments about uplifting Ravana in his upcoming film, ‘Adipurush’. After a month later, the film’s dialogue writer and lyricist, Manoj Muntashir have responded on Saif Ali Khan’s incident.
While talking to a media house, the Baahubali writer said, “Saif was misunderstood. Ravana is perceived as an all-black figure, but in Adipurush, he will be portrayed in all his shades. He will be shown as a flamboyant king, who was also ruthless and cruel.”
Manoj Muntashir further added, “Ravana believed that he was more dominant than Ram, and could never understand why Sita couldn’t fall in love with him. Saif is a thinking actor and asks questions to understand his role better. He gets into the skin of the character.”
‘Adipurush’stars Prabhas in the lead role who will be playing the character of Ram in the movie. Directed by Om Raut, the film will roll on January 19 at a studio in Mumbai.
