Adivi Sesh’s highly anticipated Pan-India film Dacoit will no longer release on its original December 25th date. The delay comes as Sesh continues to recover from a leg injury, which has affected the film’s shooting schedule.
A crucial high-intensity action sequence, requiring peak physical performance, is still pending. In the interest of both the actor’s safety and the film’s quality, the team has decided to postpone the release until Sesh is fully fit. An official announcement regarding the new release date will be made soon.
Dacoit marks the directorial debut of Shaniel Deo and is produced by Supriya Yarlagadda and Suniel Narang under the Annapurna Studios banner. The film, described as a gripping revenge drama intertwined with a unique love story, stars Mrunal Thakur as the female lead. Bollywood filmmaker Anurag Kashyap will also appear in a pivotal role as Inspector Swamy.
