Adobe has officially launched a mobile version of its renowned image editing software, Photoshop, making the app available on iPhone with an Android release slated for later this year. This mobile adaptation brings Photoshop’s powerful tools, including layering, masking, and generative AI features powered by Adobe Firefly, into a user-friendly, portable format.
Designed for both professional designers and casual users, the mobile app offers the flexibility to create high-quality designs on the go. Adobe has also expanded its Photoshop web experience, ensuring seamless integration across various devices. Users can now effortlessly transition between editing projects on their phones, tablets, or desktops, maintaining continuity in their creative workflows.
Ashley Still, Senior Vice President of Digital Media at Adobe, expressed excitement about the mobile app’s launch, stating, “We’re excited to bring the limitless creative possibilities of Photoshop to mobile, making the app’s iconic image editing and design capabilities accessible for everyone—from professional artists and designers to a whole new generation of creators trying Photoshop for the first time.”
The Photoshop mobile app is available for free download, with a premium subscription offering additional features. The Photoshop Mobile and Web plan is priced at $7.99 per month or $69.99 annually, providing access to advanced mobile editing tools and the web version of Photoshop. Existing Photoshop subscribers will automatically gain access to the mobile version as part of their current subscription.
This move further strengthens Adobe’s commitment to empowering creatives and expanding the accessibility of its industry-leading software.
