Adobe has announced a significant expansion of its Firefly generative AI ecosystem at Adobe MAX 2025, unveiling new tools, models, and creative agents that streamline content creation across video, audio, imaging, and design. The latest Firefly release introduces studio-grade capabilities like Generate Soundtrack, Generate Speech, and an AI Video Editor, supported by the advanced Firefly Image Model 5 for photorealistic, 4MP image generation.
Adobe also introduced Firefly Custom Models, allowing creators to train AI on their own styles for brand-consistent outputs. The platform now integrates seamlessly with leading partners including ElevenLabs, Google, Luma AI, OpenAI, Runway, and Topaz Labs. Additionally, Adobe previewed Project Moonlight, a conversational agent that helps creators ideate, refine, and produce content across Adobe apps.
The update enhances Firefly Boards for collaborative ideation, while new features such as Prompt to Edit and Generative Text Edit simplify visual editing through natural language instructions. Several features, including Generate Soundtrack, Generate Speech, and Firefly Image Model 5, are available in public beta, while Firefly Custom Models and the AI Video Editor are rolling out in private beta. Users subscribed to Creative Cloud Pro and Firefly can access unlimited generations across Firefly and partner models until December 1.
