Ajay Devgn, who was last seen in Son of Sardaar 2, is now eyeing a collaboration with a South Indian filmmaker. With several Bollywood stars teaming up with directors from the South, Ajay too seems keen to strengthen his presence after winning wide appreciation for his role in RRR.
As per reports, Ajay is in talks with Kannada director JP Tuminadu, who rose to fame with the blockbuster horror comedy Su from So. The film not only performed exceptionally well in Kannada but also received a strong response in its Telugu-dubbed version. Impressed by JP’s vision, Ajay has shown interest in working with him.
Sources reveal that JP has already pitched a concept to Ajay, which the actor liked. The script is currently being developed, and if it meets Ajay’s expectations, the project will go on floors in the first half of 2026. The film will be bankrolled by KVN Productions, a reputed banner from Karnataka.
Interestingly, KVN Productions is also venturing deep into Bollywood, with two Hindi films already in the pipeline—one starring Akshay Kumar and the other featuring Saif Ali Khan. Their upcoming collaboration with Ajay Devgn is expected to further cement their foothold in the Hindi film industry.
