
Tamil superstar Ajith Kumar, who is also a professional racer, recently competed in the GT4 European Series in Italy. During the second round at the Misano World Circuit, Ajith’s car collided with a stationary vehicle on the track. The crash caused significant front-end damage to his car, forcing him to retire from the race. Fortunately, Ajith escaped without injuries.
Demonstrating his sportsmanship, Ajith stayed back after the crash to assist track marshals in clearing debris from the circuit. His dedication to motorsport is well known — he made his racing debut in 2003 with Formula BMW Asia and later participated in the 2010 Formula 2 Championship. After a decade-long break, Ajith recently returned to racing and currently competes with his team, Ajith Kumar Racing, in the Porsche 992 GT3 Cup category.
Reports confirm that Ajith is already preparing for the third round of the GT4 European Series, which will be held at the prestigious Spa-Francorchamps circuit in Belgium.
