Ajith’s Good Bad Ugly is all set for a grand release on April 10th, 2025. The film has already generated massive buzz, and its trailer has heightened expectations. Bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers, the project is one of the most anticipated films of the year. However, surprisingly, the production house is not promoting it as aggressively as it does with other releases.
For instance, Mythri Movie Makers recently brought the Tamil film Dragon to the Telugu audience under the title The Return of the Dragon, starring Pradeep Ranganathan. The team went all out with promotions, organizing multiple press meets, a pre-release event, and various interviews with the cast and crew. Given Ajith’s star power and the large scale of Good Bad Ugly, one would expect an even bigger marketing push.
However, the promotional efforts for Good Bad Ugly in the Telugu market have been minimal. The team has yet to release the songs in Telugu, and there have been no major promotional activities so far. Ajith is known for staying away from film promotions—he neither attends events nor gives interviews. However, director Adhik Ravichandran could take the lead to ensure the film reaches a wider audience.
Telugu audiences have always embraced movies from other industries, and Ajith enjoys a strong fan base in the region. However, his films have often suffered from a lack of proper marketing. With Mythri Movie Makers backing this project, fans expected a more aggressive promotional strategy. The absence of such efforts has left them disappointed.
Trisha plays the female lead in the film, and with the release date approaching, it remains to be seen whether the makers will ramp up promotions in the coming days.
