Sometimes celebrities make interesting comments about their sons or fathers at celeb meets. Coming up with ‘Mehbooba’, director Puri Jagan and his son Aakash who happens to be the hero of the movie, are now surprising everyone this way.
“My nana could make this film with any star in India, but he has chosen him, for which I’m feeling proud. This time he’s coming up with a film with an inexperienced newcomer like me who has no fanbase and will score a big hit”, says Akash Puri, who is quite confident about the movie. He added, “People may say my dad is back. But I’m saying now, this is the last time anyone will say ‘he is back’ because he won’t go back again from scoring hits from now”.
“I’ve done 35 films but this is the first time I’ve done a genuine movie with heart. Earlier I used to think with mind about the introduction, item songs and others. The film has come out really well” said Puri, adding that Aakash did well in the film. However, he challenged his son, “I’m 50 years old now. In the next 10 years, I’ll make better films and super hits than Aakash for sure”.
Definitely this stunning speech of father and son at the event has surprised many onlookers. And hope that the confidence they are exuding about the film will come true on May 11th when Mehbooba hits cinemas. Newcomer Neha Shetty is the heroine in the movie.
