Nata Simham Nandamuri Balakrishna and blockbuster maker Boyapati Sreenu have reunited for the highly anticipated sequel to Akhanda. Titled Akhanda 2, the film is all set to hit theatres on December 5th. After raising curiosity with an intense promo, the makers have now unveiled the first single — “The Thaandavam” — at a grand launch event in Juhu, Mumbai.
The song lives up to every bit of the hype. S Thaman delivers another electrifying, devotional powerhouse that sends chills down the spine. Lyricist Kalyan Chakravarthy captures the fierce divinity of Lord Shiva, beautifully elevated by the thunderous vocals of Shankar Mahadevan and Kailash Kher.
Boyapati Sreenu showcases Balakrishna in a stunning, never-before-seen Aghora avatar, and the actor’s commanding presence amplifies the impact further. Shot against breathtaking snowy mountain backdrops, the visuals add a majestic, spiritual grandeur to the track. The production design complements the scale, making the song a visual spectacle.
