Akkineni Akhil is reportedly injured himself while playing for Celebrity Cricket League (CCL). The injury news surfaced late but it is said that he continued playing with the support of pain killers since the Telugu Warriors team needed his support.

He blasted a quick 25 runs in the final and got the trophy to his team. We are said that Akhil’s injury was declared as a minor tear and doctors advised him to take rest for two weeks. This will be a huge relief to Akkineni family and fans as it is not a major injury.

On the other side, Nagarjuna is currently busy selecting a right script for Akhil’s second project after that disastrous debut with Akhil – The Power of Jua. Nagarjuna himself is working on Akhil’s second project.

Three directors are reportedly in race for the project and Nagarjuna will take a final call on their scripts. The film may go on to floors in Summer. Nagarjuna of late is winning every one with his excellent script selection like Manam and Soggade Chinni Nayana. That is exactly what is needed for Akhil now.
