To own Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo rights, surely Netflix would have paid around 10 crores easily, but then, had Allu Arvind retained those rights for his own OTT app ‘Aha’, it would have been better. Because the presence of big films like Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo will attract more users towards the digital streaming service. But one wonders what made Arvind give up the rights of his own movie.
