On the personal front, she married her boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor and announced her pregnancy within a month.
Her Netflix film ‘Darlings’ is going to arrive on 5th August and she is rocking the promotional events in stylish attires. The mom-to-be is glowing at the moment and the slight chubbiness is very much visible on her face. In order to cover up her pregnant tummy, she is coming up with interesting outfits.
She recently walked out in a sparkling outfit which is quite short but she wore a black blazer on top of it which comfortably covers up her abdomen area. Posting those photos, Alia wrote, “while the husbands away — I stole his blazer to complete my look today — thank you my darlings.”
She is already posing in loose costumes off late and sooner we will be seeing a lot pregnancy photoshoots from the ‘Brahmastra’ actress. Alia will be seen in the Hollywood film ‘Heart O Stone’ in the next few months. Apart from her Hollywood project, Alia will be seen in another Netflix Hindi film named ‘Darlings’.
She plays the lead in this film along with co-producing it. She will be seen as the heroine in Bollywood’s mega project ‘Brahmastra’. Her husband Ranbir Kapoor plays the male lead while she is the heroine. Puri Jagannadh & Vijay Sethupathi’s Telugu Project Raises Curiosity
Fans have been eagerly awaiting updates on the much-anticipated collaboration between filmmaker Puri Jagannadh and actor Vijay Sethupathi. While official details remain under wraps, fresh information about the project has begun to surface, generating significant buzz—especially since it is being made exclusively in Telugu. Earlier reports suggested that the film might explore a Money Heist-style narrative and could be titled Slumdog, though Jagannadh has yet to confirm the title officially.
According to a source close to the project, the story is set in a jhopadpatti—a colony inhabited by economically marginalised people. Vijay Sethupathi’s character is said to take shelter as a tenant in the home of a Muslim woman living in the colony. The source revealed that the entire colony of beggars is constructed around her character, with Sethupathi also portraying a beggar. What unfolds next forms the crux of the story.
On the creative front, the source shared that the team has worked extensively on the look and detailing of the woman’s character, as well as the residents of the colony, to ensure authenticity. While the on-ground shoot has already been completed, post-production and dubbing have not yet begun.
As fans eagerly await an official announcement regarding the film’s title and release schedule, the delay has only heightened curiosity and expectations surrounding this intriguing Puri Jagannadh–Vijay Sethupathi collaboration.
