The super success of Prabhas in Bollywood has surely opened doors for South heroes to test their luck there. And then, we have Vijay Devarakonda getting immense craze up north due to Arjun Reddy and his next has Karan Johar turning up as a producer. Ever since that, many Telugu stars are trying to make their Bollywood debut including that of Allu Arjun.
Though the latest blockbuster Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo hasn’t released in Bollywood, Allu Arjun gave lots of interviews to Bollywood media before the release. And even after the release, to celebrate the ‘industry hit’ status, he is giving another set of interviews as he is getting interviewed by popular Anupama Chopra now. Repeatedly Allu Arjun is saying in these interviews that he wants to do a Hindi movie provided with the fact that it has unique content.
One wonders why Allu Arjun is desperately trying for a Bollywood film rather doing a Telugu movie that could also do well there. Actually his dubbed Hindi movies are always a super hit in the Hindi arena, so definitely his usual films will do well in Bollywood. Maybe the actor should have dubbed his latest movie and released it in January in order to test the waters.
