Veteran Producer R.B. Choudary Dies in Tragic Accident

In a shocking and tragic development, veteran South Indian film producer R. B. Choudary has reportedly passed away following a car accident in Udaipur. According to initial reports, the vehicle he was travelling in met with a severe accident, leading to his death on the spot. The sudden news has left the South Indian film industry in deep shock.
R.B. Choudary was a towering figure in Indian cinema and the father of Tamil actor Jiiva. Beginning his career in business, he later entered the film industry and went on to establish the well-known production house Super Good Films in 1988. He initially produced films in Malayalam before expanding into Tamil cinema, where he gained immense success.
Under his banner, Choudary produced more than 100 films across Tamil and Telugu industries, delivering several successful and memorable movies. His production house collaborated with top actors and played a key role in introducing many talented directors to the industry.
He is survived by his sons, including actor and producer Jithan Ramesh, who has been managing the banner in recent years. Super Good Films also earned a reputation for backing family entertainers and feel-good cinema that connected with a wide audience.
