The teaser of Kara, the newly titled film starring Dhanush, offers a gripping glimpse into a dark, action-packed narrative, where he plays the intense and enigmatic Karasaami.

Directed by Vignesh Raja, known for Por Thozhil, the film is slated for a grand theatrical release on April 30 in both Telugu and Tamil. It is being released in Telugu by producers CH Satish Kumar and Rajesh Kumar Bobbara under Vigneswara Entertainments and R Star Logistics.

The teaser opens with a powerful visual of Dhanush standing isolated in a rain-drenched forest, while torch-bearing men search relentlessly for him. The atmosphere is thick with tension, immediately establishing a sense of mystery and danger.

Dhanush’s commanding screen presence drives the teaser, further elevated by a haunting voiceover that explores themes of karma, fate, and consequence. His character appears deeply scarred by a troubled past, with every frame hinting at unresolved conflict and looming threats.

A standout moment arrives when he declares, “My name is Karasaami. They call me Kara,” marking a pivotal reveal that underlines the weight of his identity within the story.

Kara is written by Vignesh Raja along with Alfred Prakash and features a strong ensemble cast including Mamitha Baiju, KS Ravikumar, Karunas, Jayaram, Prithvi Pandiarajan, Suraj Venjaramoodu, MS Baskar, and Sreeja Ravi.
