The paddy procurement issue in Telangana that created a political storm had resulted in the Telangana government and Union government locking horns. Ever Since the issue tok place, the TRS and the Telangana wing of Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) are targeting each other on every possible issue and incident, which became a big topic.
Amid the face-off, Union Home Minister Amit Shah met the leaders of the Telangana wing of BJP on Tuesday. During the meeting, Amit Shah is learned to have directed the leaders to expose the wrong decisions taken by the Telangana government. He also directed the leaders to focus on targeting the TRS government, media reports said.
As per the media reports, Amit Shah reportedly assured the Telangana leaders that he would tour the state in the coming days. However, the Union Minister did not mention the correct date for his tour.
If we have to take anything from the media reports, Amit Shah had urged the Telangana wing of leaders to make sure that the party wins the upcoming by-elections in the state, as the party did in the Huzurabad by-elections. I will tour in Telangana regularly, Amit Shah reportedly said.
The T-BJP leaders who met Amit Shah today include Union Minister Kishan Reddy, T-BJP chief Bandi Sanjay Kumar, Etela Rajender, DK Aruna, MP Arvind, Vijayashanti, and others.
