Amit Shah Sees Congress Stand As Hate For Indian Culture!

The new Parliament building which was built with all the required facilities will be unveiled in a couple of days. However, the inauguration ceremony became controversial as the opposition parties decided to boycott the ceremony. In a letter, the opposition parties said that Prime Minister inaugurating the Parliament building is a violation.

Adding fuel to this, the idea to place the “Sengol” which was presented to Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India as a transfer of power from the British to India become political. The opposition parties have objections over it and ask if there is any evidence to prove the history of Sengol.

A few Congress party leaders asked if there is any evidence to say Sengol was given to Nehru marking the transfer of power to India from the British. The Bharatiya Janata Party is hitting back at the Congress party for the comments and Union Home Minister Amit Shah also joined the row.

Amit Shah’s attack on Congress made many doubt if he wants to paint the grand old Congress as a hater of Indian traditions and culture. The Home Minister said that sacred Sengol was restricted to a walking stick in a museum when it was given to Nehru by a holy Saivite Mutt from Tamil Nadu as a symbol of India’s freedom.

“Why does the Congress party hate Indian traditions and culture so much? A sacred Sengol was given to Pandit Nehru by a holy Saivite Mutt from Tamil Nadu to symbolize India’s freedom but it was banished to a museum as a ‘walking stick’,” Amit Shah said on Twitter.
