Indian home minister Amith Shah’s words on migrant labourers is drawing criticism on social media . Amith shah claimed recently that few migrant workers lost their patience and started walking towards their home towns and cities during the pandemic.“ We started buses for them and managed to transport them to railway stations as well” he stated.
The central government has clearly ill managed the situation of pandemic and couldn’t help the migrant workers with proper information right from the date of curfew. Government began arranging special trains only on May 1, while bus services started from April 20 to take migrants home.
In between, many migrants made gruelling and dangerous trips back to their hometowns as public transport was not running during the lockdown.Now Amith shah stated these words and this clearly shows the governments arrogance and negligence.
