It is well known that Prabhas has committed to three films under the banner of Hombale Films. The star has reportedly been keen on collaborating with strong, visionary filmmakers for these projects, and one of the most discussed among them is with Prasanth Varma.

Despite recent rumours suggesting the project has been shelved, sources indicate that the collaboration is very much on track. However, fans may need to wait, as Prabhas currently has a packed schedule. He is busy with Fauzi and Spirit, and is also expected to take up Kalki 2 simultaneously. Only after completing these major commitments is he likely to move forward with Prasanth Varma’s film.

Meanwhile, Prasanth Varma is focusing on his ambitious magnum opus Jai Hanuman, starring Rishab Shetty. The film is set to be officially launched with a pooja ceremony in Hampi on February 22. Interestingly, it was Prabhas who was highly impressed with Varma’s narration and recommended him to Hombale Films, with whom he already shares a strong association.
