Legendary Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan turns 83 on October 11, and veteran producer Anand Pandit is celebrating the occasion in grand style. Known for his admiration and close friendship with the superstar, Pandit has planned a unique tribute to honor the iconic actor. Birthday greetings from Anand Pandit Motion Pictures will be displayed on 3,935 advertising screens across multiplexes nationwide, along with hoardings and newspaper advertisements to mark the special day.
Speaking about the tribute, Pandit said, “Amitabh Bachchan is a living legend who never took success for granted. Having faced failure before fame, he worked tirelessly to become a complete actor—a true example of resilience and dedication. This is my small way of celebrating his birthday and showing how invaluable he is to all of us who have been inspired by the characters he has brought to life over the years.”
The birthday message will appear on screens before movies begin and after the interval in both multiplexes and single-screen theatres. Pandit shared that watching Amitabh in Trishul inspired him to chase his dreams, and living near Big B’s bungalow in Mumbai felt like coming full circle—from being a fan to becoming friends and collaborators. He added, “I have always admired his professionalism, humility, and deep respect for his craft.”
Pandit has a history of commemorating Bachchan’s birthdays with thoughtful gestures. In 2022, he pledged meals for 8,000 children and donated 800 hearing aids for Big B’s 80th birthday.
