Host-cum-actress Anasuya Bharadwaj is essaying a crucial role in Allu Arjun’s upcoming film Pushpa and according to her latest Instagram post, she had joined the sets on Wednesday. Sharing the picture of the clapboard, the ravishing beauty captioned it as “#GoodDaysAhead ? #HappyToBeBackAgain❤️ #Gratitude @aryasukku ? @alluarjunonline ? @mythriofficial Let’s get ‘em all again ?” According to reports, the shooting of the film is taking place in Hyderabad and the makers have recently shot some crucial scenes on Allu Arjun, Anasuya and others at a function hall in Yousufguda.
Due to the rapid rise of COVID cases in the second wave, the shooting of Pushpa is being done with a limited crew amid strict safety protocols. A source told a popular news portal, “The makers are planning to wrap up the entire shooting amidst the pandemic to ensure a theatrical release either in August or October.” A few days ago, the makers have shot a high-octane action sequence supervised by popular stunt choreographer Peter Hein.
Pushpa revolves around the smuggling of red sandalwood in the hills of Andhra Pradesh and the lives of those interwoven with the illegal trade. Starring Malayalam superstar Fahadh Faasil as the antagonist and Rashmika Mandanna as the leading lady, the Sukumar directorial has Kannada actor Dhananjay, Prakash Raj, Jagapathi Babu, Harish Uthaman, Vennela Kishore and Anish Kuruvilla essaying crucial roles.
In just 24 hours, the first look teaser of Pushpa garnered a total of 25 million views, thus becoming the most viewed video from Tollywood. The incredible feat has raised massive expectations on the rustic actioner.
