Known for adding glamour and boldness to TV shows like Jabardasth, she successfully transitioned to films with impactful roles in Kshanam, Rangasthalam, Pushpa, and its upcoming sequel. Recently, she made a return to television with shows like Kirrak Boys Khiladi Girls.
In a recent interview, Anasuya made a statement that quickly grabbed attention. She revealed that she actively blocks users who post negative or offensive comments on her social media. “If I feel it’s too much, I block them. I’ve blocked around 30 lakh people till now,” she said.
The remark went viral and triggered a wave of reactions online. Many social media users began mocking her claim, pointing out that she has around 2 million followers on Instagram and questioning how blocking 30 lakh people was possible. Some joked that even if she blocked a hundred people every day, it wouldn’t add up to such a large number. Memes and satirical posts soon followed.
However, the interviewer who spoke with Anasuya came forward to defend her. Taking to social media, he urged people to understand her perspective. He explained that even if the number was exaggerated, the trolling and negativity she receives are very real, and blocking could be her way of coping. “At least treat her as a human being. Is trolling necessary for everything?” he asked.
