I’m neither pregnant, nor my contract got expired, nor I have quit the show myself. But both the channel and production house took the decision to replace me in the best interest of the show” said Sameera Sherif, the TV actress who appeared as the host of Nagababu’s Jabardasth replicate ‘Adhirindi’ on Zee TV.
“I’m in the TV industry for the last 15 years so there is no worry about quitting a show or them replacing me. Though I’ve signed a contract to host 26 episodes of Adhrindi, I got replaced just after 10 episodes. No grudges against anyone or anything related to the show” she clarifies, adding that this is a great opportunity for her to show her ‘smiling’ face to the audience rather her sobbing looks in TV serials.
But what’s the reason for sacking Sameera? “None told me the proper reason for sacking me, but I understood that they need someone to spill more glamour which I cannot do as I have certain limitations,” she says, signing off.
Sameera also wished best of luck for new hosts, Ravi and Bhanusree. .
