Recently, Chandrababu Naidu engaged in discussions with Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates regarding the establishment of an AI development center in Andhra Pradesh. Building on this momentum, both Naidu and IT Minister Nara Lokesh have now extended an invitation to Sam Altman, a key figure in the modern AI revolution, to collaborate in strengthening AI infrastructure within the state.
Earlier today, Sam Altman, former CEO of OpenAI and a leading voice in AI advancements, shared a tweet highlighting India’s rapid progress in AI adoption. He remarked that the explosion of creativity in India was outpacing the world, showing his admiration for the country’s strides in the sector. Seizing the moment, IT Minister Nara Lokesh responded by extending an invitation to Altman, calling Andhra Pradesh India’s emerging AI Tech Hub. Lokesh emphasized that the state is eager to learn, adapt, and enhance its AI ecosystem to create more job opportunities for the youth.
Chandrababu Naidu also reinforced the state’s commitment to AI-driven advancements, stating that India is just beginning its journey and Andhra Pradesh is well-positioned to lead in AI and quantum technology. He welcomed Altman to visit Amaravati during his next trip to India to witness the state’s vision firsthand.
