Andhra techies in USA helping AP Government

With a mission to give back to their homeland, a group of young techies from Andhra Pradesh now based in the US are helping the state government by offering tech solutions. The techies formed an NGO named CodeforAP in the US and extending their services in suicidal development, technology applications in e-governance, health and social services, rural education and agriculture and other important citizen services.

Launching the CodeforAP program, the AP CM Chandrababu Naidu asked the NRIs to hoping the CodeforAP group and encouraged the NRIs to contribute to digital Andhra Pradesh and urged the techies to devise applications that support the government in delivering citizen services.

The Chief Minister further said that two out of four Indian techies in the US are from Andhra Pradesh and that this proves how a good ecosystem for engineers has been created from the state. Chandrababu then vowed to turn all the challenges into opportunities and said that his government will strive to promote innovation and talent.
