Like the way big stars are scoring their milestones, even technicians also do. Recently we have seen Megastar Chiru’s 150, Balayya’s 100th movies and it will be joined by Pawan’s 25th and also Mahesh’s 25th soon. And now, here is one more technician who has finished his 50th film.
After introduced by director Teja through ‘Jai’ movie, composer Anup Rubens, who was said to be keyboard player of music director RP Patnaik, has gone on composing many hit albums. Films like Ishq, Manam, Soggade Chinni Nayana, Temper and Katamarayudu have made him big shot composer for sure. And this talented composer completed his 50 films in his 13-year journey, by scoring for “Hello” as his half-century movie.
That makes Anup member of the Mighty50 club that also has his fellow composers like Devi Sri Prasad and Thaman. While Devi entered the club with Damarukam movie, Thaman did it with Aagadu and also another composer Sai Karthik entered it after finishing half-century with Raja Cheyyi Veste movie.
Music is the essential part of Telugu films as most of our stories bank on songs and background score for elevation and also story progression. It’s interesting to see some talented composer crossing the 50 mark in this age of huge competition. On the flip side, legends like Ilayaraja have composed for more than 1000 films.
