Sometimes dreams feel fragile, like paper boats on a river, yet Anupama Parameswaran’s journey proves that hope and determination can prevail. The actress, who appeared this year in films like Dragon and JSK: Janaki V vs State of Kerala as well as Telugu films Paradha and Kishkindhapuri, recently shared how she once believed she could never become an actress.

As a student, Anupama felt constrained by school rules and the notion that only toppers could handle significant dialogues, leading her to doubt her own potential. “I started believing that I could never become an actress because I was not a school topper,” she revealed in a recent interview.

Over time, she realized that talent, imagination, and perseverance matter far more than academic scores. Her story highlights how childhood rules and perceptions can cloud real potential—and how belief in oneself, combined with creativity, can ultimately overcome those doubts.
