Following the success of Karthikeya a few years ago, hero Nikhil and director Chandoo Mondeti are collaborating with each other for the second time for Karthikeya’s sequel. While Colours Swathi was the leading lady in Karthikeya, there were reports that young Kerala beauty Anupama Parameswaran will be the female lead in the sequel.
However, it looks like things have changed during the lockdown and the Malayalam girl is no longer part of this keenly awaited sequel. Apparently, Anupama did consider doing the project and Chandoo had even given her the story narration sometime back.
But after listening to the entire script, Anupama is said to have decided to walk out of the project as she didn’t find any importance to the female lead’s part. The makers are currently on a hunt for a suitable debut actress who will play Nikhil’s love interest.
