In Anurag Kashyap’s directorial Manmarziyan Taapsee essayed a emotional role that had a lot of scope in expanding the dimensions of her acting prowess. The film carries the dark and intense mood in unconventional way.
Anurag and Taapsee will come together for the third time again to start the shoot of a sci-fi film soon. In their second collaboration for upcoming flick ‘Dobaaraa’, we get to see Taapsee in a character who gets entrapped in a time-travel situation. The teaser was quite promising too. Previously the locations for the film was considered to be in Thailand and Mauritius, but Taapsee had revealed that the story was not dependent on the location so Anurag considered changing it after the pandemic.
Now sources reveal that after the recce, the makers planned to kick start the shoot in Goa in the oceanic backdrop for 3 weeks.
This new age thriller produced by Balaji motion pictures would mark the first ever attempt in B town in Time travel concept if it completes successfully and gets a release date. Dating back to the early 1990s Shekhar Kapur’s film ‘Time Machine’ with Aamir Khan, Rekha, Naseeruddin Shah and Raveena Tandon was much discussed. However, it was never completed successfully despite being attempted.
