Of late film maker Anurag Kashyap has undergone angioplasty and is said to be recuperating. His daughter Aaliyah, who completed her education in the US, flew back to India to take care of his father and has since been staying here. Aaliyah’s boyfriend Shane Gregoire with whom she had been in a relationship since one year, joined her in Mumbai for a trip.
On the occasion of father’s day on 20th, Anurag Kashyap answered ‘awkward questions’ posed by his daughter Aaliyah Kashyap in a new special video. He opened up whether he likes her boyfriend, Shane Gregoire, and also expressed his views on topics such as premarital sex and his outlook on life.
Speaking about her boyfriend, Anurag told Aaliyah, that Shane is very good and he likes him. “He is very spiritual, very calm, he has a lot of qualities that men of 40 don’t have, in terms of being there in difficult situations.”, he said.
Anurag also disclosed unhesitantly that Aaliyah has drunk-dialled numerous times. Not only that, she also would made him talk to her friends, who delivered dialogues from his critically-acclaimed film ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’.
Talking about pre-marital sex and pregnancy, the film maker said, “But now conditions have changed. There is no need to be secretive about romance. It’s a feeling about our body. But I will explain to you about the consequences that arise from it”. He added that he can say to what extent it is good and bad and leaves the decision to the individual.
