Lady Superstar Anushka Shetty has done it all on her own. Her latest offering Bhaagamathie has crossed 1 Million dollar mark in the US. This is a remarkable feat. Bhaagamathie becomes the first South Indian female-centric film to achieve this.
Bhaagamathie has collected over 130,000 USD at the US box office in the second weekend, taking its 10 days tally to 1 million USD.
While Bhaagamathie managed to collect 870 K USD at the US BO, the film collected over 130 K USD in the second week. Despite clashing with Naga Shaurya’s Chalo and Ravi Teja’s Touch Chesi Choodu (which released this week), Bhaagamathie collected 48 K USD on Friday and another 79 K USD on Saturday. By the end of second Saturday, Bhaagamathie collected 996848 USD in 9 days.
Early Sunday, the film breached 1 Million USD mark. This is a phenomenal feat from Anushka.
