Prabhas and Anushka Shetty continue to remain one of the most cherished on-screen pairs in Telugu cinema. With memorable hits like Billa, Mirchi, and the epic Baahubali series, their chemistry has left an everlasting impression on audiences, who still eagerly await their reunion in a new film.
Anushka Shetty is now gearing up for her comeback with Ghaati, directed by Krish Jagarlamudi, releasing on September 5th. The duo had earlier worked together in the acclaimed film Vedam, where Anushka’s role as Saroja earned her immense love and a lasting place in Telugu cinema.
Ahead of Ghaati’s release, Anushka interacted with the media over a phone conversation. When asked about collaborating with Prabhas again, she replied,
“I hope so. I really want to work with Prabhas. After a film like Baahubali, it should be something special or different. If a good script comes and Prabhas likes it, we will do it.”
The actress also revealed that she remains connected with the Baahubali team. Though she missed the decade-anniversary celebrations, she participated in the documentary shoot about the film, which will be released soon. She also expressed excitement about watching the recut version, Baahubali: The Epic, slated for release on October 31st.
On her upcoming projects, Anushka confirmed she is committed to doing more films. Apart from Ghaati, she will also be seen in the Malayalam fantasy thriller Kathanar: The Wild Sorcerer, directed by Rojin Thomas.
Fans can look forward to seeing Anushka in fresh and powerful roles, while many still dream of witnessing her magical on-screen pairing with Prabhas once again.
