The buzz surrounding Anushka Shetty’s upcoming film Ghaati has reached new heights. Directed by Krish Jagarlamudi and backed by UV Creations and First Frame Entertainments, the film has successfully cleared censorship with a U/A certificate.
According to industry insiders, members of the censor board were highly impressed, praising the film’s grand scale and stellar performances.
Anushka Shetty is said to have delivered one of the most intense performances of her career as Sheelavathi. Her gripping character arc — from victim to criminal to legend — is already being hailed as a career-defining role, with early talk suggesting it could even be National Award-worthy.
Adding to the excitement, Vikram Prabhu (grandson of the legendary Sivaji Ganesan and son of veteran actor Prabhu) makes his Telugu debut in Ghaati. Notably, he dubbed his own lines in Telugu, bringing extra authenticity to his role.
The film has also been generating huge hype for its stunning visuals of the Eastern Ghats and the soulful music by Sagar Nagavelli. Songs like Sylore and Dassora have already struck a chord with audiences, turning into instant chartbusters.
