Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy was once again insulted by the center as he was denied the appointment of the Home Minister Amit Shah at the last moment. Though Jagan seems to have good ties with Narendra Modi, his connection with Shah is a bit complicated.
Previously Jagan waited in Delhi for shah’s appointment but Shah gave no time to him. Then at the same time period, he gave the appointment to Bandi Sanjay, then MP and Telangana BJP president instead of the AP CM Jagan. Now, it seems Shah is still controlling the internal affairs of the BJP even though JP Nadda was made the president of the party.
This latest insult to Jagan was last seen in Indira Gandhi’s reign and slowly BJP also developed some arrogance. Every Chief minster that belongs to other party is facing the same reaction from the center and many CMs were away from central politics except Jagan and KCR only to get humiliated.
In the past also, it is being said that Jagan personally requested shah to provide some relaxations from CBI’s procedure of enquiry and investigation as he is the CM of a state which the home minister promised to do. But, Jagan was presented as a common man into the court by making him stand in the bone. So, it seems like Amit Shah and his people have put Jagan under their scanner for a very long period and all this treatment and humiliation is quite intentional.
