Puri Jagannadh–Vijay Sethupathi Film Slum Dog Nears Release After Shoot Wrap
Puri Jagannadh is teaming up with Vijay Sethupathi for the first time in an unconventional action entertainer titled Slum Dog, carrying the intriguing tagline 33 Temple Road.
The film is jointly produced by Puri Jagannadh and Charmme Kaur, in association with JB Narayan Rao Kondrolla of JB Mohan Pictures. The first look, released earlier, received a highly positive response from audiences and industry circles alike.
Celebrating his remarkable 26-year journey in cinema, Vijay Sethupathi recently shared a heartfelt note appreciating director Puri Jagannadh. He described Puri’s career as a legacy built on courage and conviction, praising his fearless storytelling and ability to consistently push creative boundaries.
The actor also expressed his admiration for directors who trust performers and challenge them to step beyond their comfort zones, crediting Puri for bringing out that space effortlessly.
The film features Samyuktha as the female lead, while Tabu and Vijay Kumar will be seen in key supporting roles.
With shooting already completed, Slum Dog has now entered the final stage of post-production. The makers are expected to begin promotional activities once the Tamil Nadu election season concludes.
